I’m going to start off by saying Christian is a very talented musician. I think he plays every instrument haha but seriously someone like him knows what direction he wants to go with his music. I was lucky to have Geekd to come record a session with us and this is one of the songs they performed. Tons of energy and I witnessed it. Listening to this song gives me flashabacks to that performance.

I actually never heard something like this. The electric guitar creeped up out of no where and it was fucking awesome. Perfectly done, didn’t over power the song! Just wanted to say North by North is not new to me. I fucking love this band! The track Get Weird is the first song that put me on and since then I been a fan. So I decided to pick another track and I really couldn’t decide because I really like all of them. So I said fuck it I’m going to give my overall thoughts on the album!! Amazing…this two piece band put together an amazing project. Rock and Roll vibes…Bands like Broncho, The Black Keys, and The White Stripes come to mind. Totally dig the track, but what made me like it more is when I check out the other tracks they have. This track had a different direction compared to their other tracks. Also let me mention that their other tracks are very good. This tells me they can change it up a bit and still put out good content. So I checked out both versions of this track. When listening I was really enjoying it but it was missing something I felt. Think it would’ve been cool if the drum pattern/hihats picked up a bit faster half way. But then I listened to the slowed/reverb version and I really liked that version. Early cudi feels and I totally fucks with that!

Definitely felt the Ska vibes here. So I had to check out their other tracks right after. Let’s just say I really fucks with this band.
